    Chamber Nation's accrual-based billing system operates similarly to QuickBooks and other accounting software, managing invoice and payment transactions. Invoices detail member dues and other charges, while payments signify receipt of funds for these items. This system also encompasses invoice and payment management within event registrations and store transactions.


    Integration with online payment gateways enables seamless online payments for members and event participants, automatically recording these transactions. Chamber Nation also includes automated reminder notifications for unpaid dues or fees, enhancing collection automation.


    Integration Details

    • Compatibility: Interfaces with QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop (last three years' versions).
    • Initial Setup Costs: A one-time setup fee of $500 covers configuring general ledger account codes and classes to mirror existing setups in QuickBooks.
    • Monthly Support Fee: A $25 monthly fee covers ongoing customer support.
    • Transaction Handling: Chamber Nation serves as the primary point of entry for all transactions. Member joins, renewals, online payments, event registrations, and store purchases are recorded in Chamber Nation. For payments by check, manual entry is required. The QuickBooks interface duplicates these transactions (amounts and dates) for accounting and reporting purposes.

    Interface Process

    • Setup in QuickBooks: Create items and assign them to General Ledger Accounts (GLA).
    • Class Management: Create and assign classes in QuickBooks to correspond with Chamber Nation categories.
    • Transaction Export: Export transactions from Chamber Nation to QuickBooks as Invoices and Payments or Sales Receipts (for immediate payments).
    • Customer Record Sync: Member and Event Contact records in Chamber Nation correspond to customer records in QuickBooks.
    • Sync Frequency: Payments for new member registrations, dues, event fees, donations, and store transactions can be synced with QuickBooks as often as needed.


    Maintaining synchronization ensures accurate financial reporting across platforms, facilitating efficient management of member transactions through Chamber Nation's robust integration with QuickBooks.
