    Selling the Commerce (.com)

Now that we have covered the CHAMBER, let's shift our focus to the world of COMMERCE!

    Introduction:

We have created this document to provide Chamber of Commerce executives and their staff with a program to help improve the value proposition of becoming a member. We know there is a lot of information in this document, but you can bypass all of this when you meet with a prospective member and just use http://members.chambernation.com. This guide is really meant to help you explain each of the program's features. Maybe you will just scan and look at only a few topics, but if you do go through this document, we think you will begin to understand the depth of possibilities when you begin to use Chamber Nation to its full potential.

As the CEO, I want to be here for you. I am happy to meet via Zoom to answer any questions or even offer a presentation to your staff, board, or committee. Just book a time on my calendar at
    www.RichardsCalendar.com

Keep in mind that we like to say, “You run the chamber, and we will run the commerce. By working as a team, we deliver much better results for the members and the community.”

    Sincerely,

    Richard Scully

    Let's Get Started

When meeting potential members, the focus is often on the "Chamber" before shifting to "Commerce." Most people join the Chamber of Commerce for commerce, yet this area is given minimal emphasis. Chamber Nation and its Documented Community program aim to change this.

The Chamber of Commerce industry has a history dating back over 400 years, originally supporting trade by providing vendors with scales and other trade controls.

Chambers need to adapt their strategies to better promote their communities. The "Bringing Local Back" initiative
www.BringingLocalBack.com aims to help communities launch successful programs.

    Suggested Membership Sales Steps

    1. Present what you currently do while explaining the benefits of joining the Chamber of Commerce. If you're new to the Chamber of Commerce, you can find valuable information at www.HistoryofChambers.com.
    2. After discussing the Chamber's benefits, let's transition the meeting by saying, "Now that we've finished discussing the Chamber, let's move on to talking about the third word in our name, 'Commerce.'

    • Remember to bring your traditional Chamber materials so you can cover the Chamber's value as usual. Also, consider bringing a tablet for part of your presentation since you have Kiosks and other mobile technologies from Chamber Nation that demonstrate well.

    • When you do the transition over to the Commerce side of your presentation, we would recommend using this page to start:
    • Please remember the link www.BringingLocalBack.com for completing the COMMERCE PRESENTATION. This document follows the website's order for easy reference when explaining aspects of your program.

    • This website section should demonstrate that a Documented Community, where businesses are meticulously documented and easily searchable, offers numerous advantages for both businesses and customers. Such a platform can significantly enhance business expansion and elevate the overall business ecosystem.

    • You should emphasize that upon joining the Chamber of Commerce, they are automatically included in your Documented Community program for search purposes.

    • "At the bottom of this page, you'll find images explaining why bringing local back is essential and the problem the Chamber is solving.

After you go through the information above, you should go into showing the slides about Member Services.

    • To access "Member Services," click the button at the top of the website or visit https://members.chambernation.com/services. Then, click the "PROCEED" button at the bottom to move forward with the slides and your prospective member.

    • We'll handle all the research and onboarding for your business, typically taking 10-15 business days. You'll receive an email from the Chamber with your new presentation, and you can contact our support team for any questions or changes. This service is included in your membership at no extra cost. A video is also available on this page.https://members.chambernation.com/new-business-onboarding

    • AI enables quick creation of advertising content, offers, and professional service material. Create a sample offer as one demo option with a complete title, including a percentage discount in the "Offers and Flyers" section of a member business. The prospect will be impressed with how fast they can begin to expand their business promotion. https://members.chambernation.com/open-ai-assisted-content

After you go through the information above, you should go into showing the slides about Membership Benefits.

    • Multilingual Catalogs and APPS/ADA Compliance powered by ReciteME are usually expensive for businesses, but they are included with Chamber membership. This allows visitors to convert information into any language. When attached to a website, members can support every language through their catalog and mobile app. https://members.chambernation.com/participant-benefits#carouselExampleControls

    • Community Marketplace https://admin.docu.team/marketplace.php?association=592
    • To enable retail mode, add inventory and pricing to your catalog. This will activate a "buy" button for customers to add items to their shopping cart. After checkout, an order request receipt will be sent to the buyer, and the member will receive an order request. They can then verify availability and proceed with payment using your merchant account, check, or cash. PayPal integration is also available for automated checkout.

    • The Things-to-Do App is ready for launch once the community activates it and assigns businesses to the correct buttons. Promotion involves printing a 3-inch round sticker with a QR code and text announcing "Things to Do Around ABC Community" placed on retail and business windows to promote the entire community and all participating businesses. https://www.docu.team/kiosk.php?association=24&version=mobile

    • Community Clicker is an app for promoting community events, jobs, offers and our member business apps. It is available on both the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store and provides information about everything happening in the community. Search for "Community Clicker" and look for a white square with a remote control icon.

    • You can create and publish Business Profile Videos directly from your Commerce Terminal dashboard. Just click "RECORD FROM CAMERA," talk about your business, and explain why people should choose to do business with you. If your video is under 5 minutes long, you can use it instead of recording a new one. Once created, the video will be sent for confirmation and then added to your mobile app and marketing landing page. It will also be shared publicly at http://members.chambernation.com. https://members.chambernation.com/business-profile-videos

After you go through the information above, you will want to show Webinars.

    • You can click on the “Webinar” button at the top of the site you are currently on or here: https://members.chambernation.com/webinars. This is just to show the prospective members where to go for more information and instruction.

After you go through the information above, you will want to show Support.
